- 03 Keep your hips square and your back flat as you hinge at the hips.
- 04 Reach the dumbbell toward the floor while extending your free leg straight behind you for balance.
- 05 Lower until your torso is close to parallel with the floor or you feel a strong stretch in the standing hamstring.
- 06 Drive through the heel of the standing foot to stand back up.
- 07 Squeeze your glutes at the top and keep your hips level.
- 08 Repeat for the desired reps, then switch legs.
- 09 Keep the movement slow and controlled.
- 10 Avoid rounding your back, twisting your hips, or locking out the standing knee.
