How to perform it
- 01 Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width, the kettlebell on the floor about a foot in front of you.
- 02 Hinge at the hips, reach forward and grip the handle with both hands, arms straight and back flat.
- 03 Hike the bell back between your legs, keeping your forearms in contact with your inner thighs.
- 04 Snap your hips forward hard and squeeze your glutes to float the bell up to chest height.
- 05 Let the bell fall back down and hinge again as it passes your hips to start the next rep.
- 06 This is a hip hinge, not a squat, and the arms stay relaxed — do not lift the bell with your shoulders.
