How to perform it
- 01 Stand with your feet hip-width apart and the bar over your midfoot, close to your shins.
- 02 Hinge and bend your knees to grip the bar just outside your legs.
- 03 Drop your hips until your shins touch the bar, lift your chest and set a flat back.
- 04 Take a big breath, brace your core and pull the slack out of the bar before it moves.
- 05 Push the floor away with your legs, keeping the bar dragging up your shins and thighs.
- 06 Stand tall with your hips and knees locked, then reverse the path by pushing your hips back first.
