How to perform it
- 01 Stand with your feet hip-width apart and the bar over your midfoot.
- 02 Hinge at the hips, pushing them back until your torso is close to parallel with the floor, knees softly bent.
- 03 Grip the bar just outside your knees, arms straight, back flat and shoulder blades set.
- 04 Brace your core, then pull the bar to your lower ribs, driving your elbows back past your torso.
- 05 Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top of the pull.
- 06 Lower under control and keep your torso angle fixed for every rep.
