How to perform it
- 01 Lie on the bench with your eyes under the bar, feet flat on the floor.
- 02 Set your shoulder blades back and down into the bench and keep a small natural arch in your lower back.
- 03 Grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder-width, wrists stacked over your elbows.
- 04 Unrack and bring the bar over your chest with your arms locked.
- 05 Lower under control to your lower chest, keeping your elbows around 45 degrees from your torso.
- 06 Press back up and slightly toward your face until your arms are straight, without bouncing the bar off your chest.
